REDEEMERS CHAPEL
Dr. Kwabena Sarpong, lovingly referred to as Pastor Kobby, has been in ministry for over 21 years. He received the calling to shepherd the Redeemers Church of Christ - also known as Redeemers Chapel – in October 2016 via a powerful prophecy by Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne.
Pastor Kobby leverages his pioneering vision and instinct to serve others in areas extending beyond the church. To help lead people to their destiny, you must meet people where they are in life – it is with this approach that Pastor Kobby has been able to reach people from all socioeconomic backgrounds and races. He has led numerous endeavors to serve his community and various charitable programs, including health fairs, back-to-school, and food drives. You will receive the word as-is, with no sugar coating, yet with humility, allowing him to be a blessing to the Kingdom of God.
He is an appointed member of the African Diaspora Advisory Board for Prince George's County, Maryland, under the leadership of County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, honored with the International Distinguished Leadership Award, and earned his honorary doctorate from CICA International University and Seminary. In October 2022, he, alongside his wife, Pastor Elizabeth Sarpong, was honored with the United States of America Lifetime Achievement Award conferred upon him by President Joe Biden.
Pastor Kobby and his wife reside in Maryland. They are blessed with two beautiful daughters, who are all with him every step of the way as he continues to be led by God in service.
